25th OLAF Digital Forensics and Analysts training

The 25^th OLAF Digital Forensics and Analysts training will take place from 25 September to 6 October 2023 in Prague, Czechia – NH City Hotel.

The training is financed by the European Union Anti-Fraud Programme (UAFP) (2021-2027) and implemented by the European Commission (OLAF). It was established to promote activities to combat fraud affecting the EU's financial interests.

Basic Computer Forensic Examiner (BCFE) – 2 weeks – 25 September - 6 October 2023

Mac Forensics Advanced – 1 week – 25 - 29 September 2023

• Introduction: review of MFSC-101 Course, helpful hints
• Advanced File system artifacts
• macOS Link Files
• Application Deconstruction
• Advanced Command Lines for Forensics, Advanced Search, Log Analysis
• File System events, Automator for Forensics, AppleScript, RAM Analysis

Data Science – 1 week – 25 - 29 September 2023

• Data sources, data types
• Preparation of (Structured) Data
• ETL, Data Storage&Data Engineering, Data Science Project Flow
• Processing Unstructured Data

Basic Operational Analysis Training – 1 week –2 - 6 October 2023

• Analytical skills for investigators
• Working with timelines and hypotheses
• Link and association charts
• Flow charts and presenting skills
• Group presentation/Course Evaluation
