OLAF is pleased to invite you to its EU Regions Week 2023 Participatory Lab, taking place in-person at the SQUARE Conference Center in Brussels on Tuesday 10 October from 11h30-13h00:

“Report Fraud, we do the rest!”

In this workshop, we will present our investigative work with a particular focus on Cohesion Policy and discuss with you our common challenges. Join us to understand how fraud happens, what OLAF does, but most importantly what you can do about it!

The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. This year it will take place in Brussels.

With a EUR 392 billion budget for 2021-2027, the EU Cohesion Policy is a fantastic opportunity for development. It is also, unfortunately, a fantastic opportunity to defraud. At OLAF we detect, investigate and protect. We believe that fighting fraud is everybody’s concern: each euro stolen is taxpayers’ money not going to a deserving project.

Who should attend?

Anyone with interest in the protection of EU funds or involved in the day-to-day implementation of regional, cohesion policy, whether in a project managing capacity, or in an auditing capacity.

Participation is free of charge.
