On 2 October, a delegation of journalists, communicators and employees of the governmental administration of the Republic of Moldova paid a working visit to the Fight Against Fraud Department – DLAF headquarters. The event took place on the occasion of the professional training program Romanian Values in the field of the European Affairs organised by the Romanian Diplomatic Institute in partnership with the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova (DRRM) and the Romanian Government, in the period 30 September – 4 October, at Bucharest.

The event was chaired by the head of DLAF, the State Secretary Bogdan-Ionuț DINȚOI. He underlined the important institutional role that DLAF fulfilled and continue to accomplish by ensuring the fulfillment of the commitment on the protection of the EU’s financial interests by our country, as a Member State. Also, the State Secretary Bogdan-Ionuț DINȚOI stressed that DLAF is open to support the European path of the Republic of Moldova through professional training and good practices.

The DLAF representatives provided the Republic of Moldova delegation relevant information on the institution’s organization, its involvement in the nationals and European working groups, control activities, case studies, reporting of the irregularities and communication strategies, designed to meet the requirements in the field of the European Funds protection assumed by Romania, as a Member State.

The Romanian Values in the field of the European Affairs professional training program aims to strengthen the Republic of Moldova capacity to implement the reforms necessary for the accession to the European Union. It is also an opportunity for Moldovan officials, civil servants and media representatives to deepen their knowledge of European policies and to explore ways in which Romania's experience in the field of the European affairs can support the reform process in the Republic of Moldova.
