Romania: The Fight Against Fraud Department obtained the Quality Management System certification in the field of "Ensuring the protection of the EU`S financial interests"

The Fight Against Fraud Department – DLAF (AFCOS Romania), a unique institution at national level, with exclusive powers and competencies in the field of protecting the financial interests of the European Union in Romania and the fight against fraud with European funds, obtained, on October 18, 2023, the Quality Management System certification. The certificate issued by the Romanian Society for Quality Assurance (SRAC) confirms that the activity carried out by DLAF meets the ISO 9001:2015 standards, on all structural levels (anti-fraud operations, anti-fraud prevention, support, monitoring, measurement, analysis and improvement).

SRAC certifications are recognized at international level through SRAC partnership with IQNET (The International Certification Network). To that extent, The Fight Against Fraud Department - DLAF received also the IQNET certificate.

The Fight Against Fraud Department - DLAF is committed to maintaining the Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standards and to continuously improve its effectiveness and efficiency.

The certification was obtained based on the project "Consolidation of the Management System through the implementation of the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) and the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015", SIPOCA code: 695, MySMIS2014+ code: 129365, carried out by the Secretariat-General of the Government of Romania.
